Questions answered

Before you register

Are these courses compatible with my Erasmus+ KA1 grant?

Yes. All courses at Casa da Educação are structured specifically to meet Erasmus+ KA1 teacher mobility requirements. We provide all necessary documentation including the Learning Agreement and Europass Mobility certificate.

What language are the courses taught in?

All courses are delivered in English. Our trainers are experienced working with participants from across Europe and adapt their delivery to mixed language groups. No Portuguese is required.

Can I combine two consecutive courses?

Absolutely. Many participants choose two consecutive weeks for a 10-day immersion. We offer a combined booking discount and can arrange accommodation for the full period. Contact us for details.

Do you help with accommodation in Lisbon?

Yes. We work with a network of vetted hotels and guesthouses near our training centre in Areeiro. We provide options at different price points and can coordinate group bookings for schools sending multiple teachers.

What if my Erasmus+ grant hasn't been approved yet?

We can issue a Letter of Acceptance for your Erasmus+ application before your grant is confirmed. This is a common practice and we are experienced in supporting schools through the application process.

How many participants are in each course?

We keep courses small a maximum of 15 participants to ensure genuine interaction, personalised feedback, and individual attention from our trainers. This is central to the quality of our programmes.
