Quality & Certification
Casa da Educação has been certified by DGERT, the Portuguese government’s training-quality authority, since 2015. Here is what that certification is and what it guarantees for your school.
DGERT, the Direção-Geral do Emprego e das Relações de Trabalho, is the Portuguese government’s Directorate-General for Employment and Labour Relations. One of its jobs is running the national certification system for training entities, set out in Portaria n.º 851/2010 and later amendments.
Any organisation can offer courses in Portugal. A DGERT-certified training entity has been assessed by the state against a quality framework and is monitored afterwards. It is the main official quality mark for professional training providers in Portugal.
To be certified, a training provider has to show that it meets requirements covering the whole training cycle:
Certification is not a one-off. Certified entities stay under DGERT monitoring, and certification can be withdrawn if the requirements stop being met.
Casa da Educação started welcoming European teachers in Lisbon in 2012 and obtained DGERT certification in 2015. The certified legal entity is DNA Europe Vocational Training LDA, based at Praça Francisco Sá Carneiro 11, Areeiro, Lisbon.
All our Teachers Academy courses and our VET internship programme run under the same quality procedures that DGERT certification requires: published programmes, registered attendance, trainer evaluation and participant feedback after each edition.
How to check: DGERT publishes the list of certified training entities on its website, dgert.gov.pt. Search for DNA Europe Vocational Training. If your school or National Agency needs a copy of our certificate, ask us and we will send it.
At the end of the course you receive a certificate of attendance from a DGERT-certified entity, with the course title, dates, number of hours and contents, together with a Europass Mobility document. Together they are solid evidence for your school’s Erasmus+ final report and for your own professional portfolio.
Erasmus+ quality standards ask sending schools to choose reliable providers and document learning outcomes. Working with a nationally certified training entity makes that justification simple, both in the application and in the final report.
Our VET internships are coordinated by the same certified structure: Learning Agreements, supervision plans, supervisor evaluations and Europass Mobility for every student.
| Mark | Who grants it | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| DGERT certification | Portuguese government (DGERT) | The training provider meets Portugal’s national quality framework for training entities. |

| Erasmus+ accreditation | The National Agency in the sending country | The sending school can receive Erasmus+ mobility funding every year (KA120 / KA121). |
| Europass Mobility | Issued by the sending and host organisations, in the EU’s Europass format | A standard European record of what a participant learned during a stay abroad. |

Yes. Casa da Educação (legal entity: DNA Europe Vocational Training LDA) has held DGERT certification as a training entity since 2015.
Every participant receives a certificate of attendance issued by a DGERT-certified training entity, stating the course title, dates, hours and contents, plus a Europass Mobility document.
That decision belongs to the education authority in your country, and rules differ between countries. The DGERT certificate gives you an official Portuguese document from a certified training entity, which is the evidence most schools and authorities ask for. Check with your school or ministry before you travel; we can provide extra detail on hours and contents if they need it.
No. DGERT certification is a Portuguese national quality certification for training providers. Erasmus+ accreditation is granted by your own country’s National Agency to the sending school. Course providers like us do not need Erasmus+ accreditation for you to attend; we identify ourselves with our Erasmus+ OID (E10068350).
Tell us about your school and we will reply within 24 hours with dates, a Letter of Acceptance and a full quote.
